This document is a placeholder. Final Official Rules must be drafted by a sweepstakes attorney before launch. Hand this draft to your lawyer to fill in the bracketed sections with the correct legal language for your jurisdiction.
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. One free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) is available per Sweepstakes per person via the “Claim Free Entry” button on each raffle's detail page. Paid and free entries have equal odds of winning.
2. ELIGIBILITY
Open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age at time of entry. Residents of [LAWYER TO LIST RESTRICTED STATES] are not eligible. Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliates, and their immediate families are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. SPONSOR
The Sweepstakes is sponsored by New Era Raffle LLC, a California Limited Liability Company with principal offices in Garden Grove, California (“Sponsor”). Founder & Managing Member: Luis Campos. New Era Raffle LLC operates under the California Corporations Code, applicable state raffle regulations, IRS prize-distribution guidelines, and digital consumer-protection standards.
4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
Each individual Sweepstakes (“Raffle”) has its own Sweepstakes Period as displayed on the Raffle's detail page. Entries must be received within the applicable Sweepstakes Period to be eligible.
5. HOW TO ENTER
Paid Entry: Purchase one or more tickets at the listed Tier price ($5–$100). Each ticket is one entry.
Free Entry (AMOE): Sign in to your account and click “Claim Free Entry” on the Raffle's detail page. Limit one (1) free entry per Sweepstakes per person.
6. WINNER SELECTION
One (1) Winner per Raffle will be selected at random from all eligible entries using a cryptographically secure random number generator at the conclusion of the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. PRIZES
Each Raffle's prize value is as displayed on its detail page. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution is permitted, except by Sponsor due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes (federal, state, local). US Winners of prizes valued at $600 or more will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC.
8. ENTRY LIMITS
Each person may obtain no more than [N] paid entries plus one (1) free entry per Sweepstakes.
9. REFUNDS
Paid entries may be cancelled and refunded any time prior to the drawing for that Sweepstakes. Refunds are processed through Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on the original payment method.
10. WINNER NOTIFICATION
The Winner will be notified by email at the address associated with their New Era Raffle account within twenty-four (24) hours of the drawing.
11. PRIVACY
Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy [LINK].
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
